Founder & Director
Dr. Abdul Ahad Khan has conducted 10,000+ physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions, working extensively across orthopaedic, post-operative, musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation.
His clinical experience includes the rehabilitation of 100+ Total Knee Replacement patients, along with Total Hip Replacement cases, major orthopaedic surgeries, acute and chronic lower-back conditions, sports injuries, movement dysfunction and return-to-activity rehabilitation.
His work combines physiotherapy with advanced strength and conditioning principles, allowing rehabilitation to progress beyond pain management into mobility, strength, movement control and functional recovery.
Dr. Khan holds a Master of Science in Strength and Conditioning and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Indian Spinal Injuries Centre (GGSIPU).
His clinical experience includes work at Holy Family Hospital, along with specialised exposure at Safdarjung Sports Injury Centre and Indian Spinal Injuries Centre.
Over the years, he has worked across:
Beyond clinical practice, he has also worked in the orthopaedic industry with Auxein Medical, contributing to medical education in arthroscopy and trauma implants, surgical technique documentation and advanced training programmes.
He is also trained in Dry Needling, Cupping Therapy and Sleep Apnea Rehabilitation.
This combination of high-volume clinical practice, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injury exposure, strength and conditioning, and orthopaedic industry experience gives Dr. Khan a broad understanding of the rehabilitation process — from injury or surgery to functional recovery.
Consultant Physiotherapist | Neurological, Women’s Health & Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation
Dr. Shalini has conducted 2,000+ physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions over 5+ years of clinical experience, working across neurological, musculoskeletal, paediatric and women’s health rehabilitation.
At RehAAB, she is particularly valued for her work in neurological rehabilitation and women’s health physiotherapy, including prenatal, postnatal and pelvic-floor rehabilitation, while also managing complex musculoskeletal and developmental cases.
Her strength lies in working with patients who need structured, progressive and closely monitored rehabilitation, especially where recovery involves movement retraining, functional independence, long-term progression or multiple clinical factors.
Dr. Shalini’s clinical work includes:
A significant part of her work involves patients who need more than short-term symptom management — including those recovering from neurological conditions, pregnancy-related physical changes, pelvic-floor dysfunction, developmental movement concerns and persistent musculoskeletal problems.
Notable Paediatric Case
One notable paediatric case involved a 17-month-old child with persistent toe-walking and difficulty developing a normal walking pattern. Through an individualised rehabilitation programme, regular monitoring and parent-guided exercises, the child showed significant improvement within 12 sessions.
Her musculoskeletal work has also included patients with severe radiating lower-back pain, where treatment combined clinical assessment, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and progressive rehabilitation to improve both symptoms and function.
With her experience across neurology, women’s health, paediatrics and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, Dr. Shalini adds an important dimension to RehAAB’s clinical team — particularly for patients looking for a physiotherapist with experience beyond routine orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Physiotherapist | Sports & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation
Dr. Atif has conducted 1,200+ physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions, with focused experience in sports injuries, musculoskeletal conditions and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
At RehAAB, he has built a strong patient base through one particular strength: creating rehabilitation plans around the individual rather than using the same routine for every patient.
His assessment looks at the injury, movement pattern, strength, physical demands and the activity the patient wants to return to. The rehabilitation plan is then progressed accordingly — whether the goal is to walk comfortably, return to the gym, resume training or get back to sport.
Dr. Atif’s clinical work includes:
A key part of his work is individual rehabilitation planning. Instead of following a fixed set of exercises, treatment is adjusted according to how the patient is moving, responding and progressing at each stage.
Notable Athlete Case
One notable case involved an athlete who sustained an injury two days before a HYROX competition. With very limited time available, Dr. Atif worked on assessment, symptom management, movement correction and preparation for the physical demands of the event. The athlete was subsequently able to participate in and complete the HYROX race.
Over 2 years of clinical practice, Dr. Atif has worked extensively with active individuals, athletes and orthopaedic patients, building his experience around one consistent process: assess carefully, plan specifically and progress rehabilitation according to the person in front of him.
His close involvement throughout rehabilitation and ability to adapt treatment as the patient progresses have made him a strong and trusted part of RehAAB’s physiotherapy team.
Physiotherapist | Orthopaedic & Geriatric Rehabilitation
Dr. Ettefaque’s clinical training has been centred around orthopaedic, post-operative and geriatric rehabilitation, with particular exposure to patients recovering from surgery, fractures, joint problems, reduced mobility, gait difficulties and age-related weakness.
He completed his clinical physiotherapy training at Holy Family Hospital, where he worked with patients across orthopaedic, neurological, post-operative and geriatric rehabilitation under experienced clinical supervision.
His work focuses on helping patients gradually regain movement, strength, balance, walking ability and independence in everyday activities, with rehabilitation progressed according to the patient’s condition and stage of recovery.
During his training at Holy Family Hospital, Dr. Ettefaque worked under the guidance of Dr. Abha Sharma (PT), HOD, Department of Physiotherapy, gaining practical experience in patient assessment, exercise planning, gait training, strengthening, balance work and functional rehabilitation.
Across his academic and clinical training, he has participated in 800+ physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions, providing him with exposure to patients at different stages of recovery.
His clinical exposure includes:
Notable Trauma & Surgical Case
One significant case during his clinical training involved a 28-year-old patient recovering from knee surgery following a road traffic accident. The patient had restricted movement, weakness, difficulty bearing weight and limitations in walking.
The rehabilitation programme progressed through restoration of knee movement, strengthening, gait re-education, balance training and functional exercises, with treatment adjusted according to recovery at each stage.
Dr. Ettefaque has also completed training in:
His current clinical focus is on orthopaedic, post-operative and geriatric rehabilitation, particularly patients who need structured support to regain mobility and return to everyday activity safely.
